The owner, “a man aged around forty was not at home”declared the public prosecutor of Mulhouse, Edwige Roux-Morizot. “It seems that he is currently in Germany”specifies the magistrate, who adds that the man “should be heard by the police in the first days of January”.

In Alsace as in Germany, firecrackers and fireworks are very popular on New Year’s Eve, although they regularly cause serious injuries or even deaths.
