But what happened on the set of the series NCIS ? As a new season is being filmed, an outbreak has spread between the technical team and the cast. Suddenly, everyone began to feel symptoms approaching food poisoning. A disease which does not seem serious but which nevertheless affected 18 people in a short time.
Filming was not interrupted, but one of the crew members explained to TMZ that they had been forced to do Zoom meetings to organize and manage the replacement of the teams. While no one really knows what happened to them, everyone seems to be back to work and the outbreak is now almost over.
Filming is currently taking place in California, in Valencia. The series, which began in 2003, is now in its 19th season, an exceptional longevity for an American series. It tells the story of the federal agency of the same name, which deals with investigations independently of the usual police hierarchy.
Today, there are relatively few actors left in the first seasons, with the exception of Sean Murray, who plays Agent McGee and Brian Deltzen, who plays medical examiner Jimmy Palmer. Finally, Gary Cole and Katrina Law have recently made their arrivals, in the roles of special agents, Jessica Knight and Alden Parker.
It must be said that the series has been affected by several scandals of sexual assault. Michael Weatherly, who played Special Agent DiNozzo, was accused by The New York Times of inappropriate remarks toward his co-star on another show, Eliza Dushku. This had been defended by his two colleagues Sasha Alexander and Pauley Perrette.
An essential actress in the series, the latter had herself denounced sexual assault on the part of one of their colleagues, Mark Harmon. She had even left the series for this, explaining in “have nightmares“.”NO, I WILL NOT RETURN! NEVER ! (Will you stop asking me?) I’m terrified of Harmon and his attacks on me. I have nightmares“, she wrote on her Twitter account, harassed by fans of the series wanting the return of her character as a medical examiner.
