The Sacramento Kings have shown head coach Luke Walton the way out.
That’s what ESPN learned on Sunday.
The Californian team is having a very difficult start to the season, it which has notably suffered defeat in seven of its last eight outings. She has maintained a 6-11 record so far in 2021-2022.
At the helm since April 2019, Walton has maintained a 68-93 record in just over two seasons. Before starting his coaching career, the 41-year-old played 11 seasons as a player in the NBA.
Also according to ESPN, assistant head coach Alvin Gentry would be considered for the role of interim driver with the Kings. The Sacramento club have not made the playoffs since the 2005-06 season.
