Goran Dragic has reportedly signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets, which would solidify their roster’s guard position.

Agent Bill Duffy said Monday that Dragic will join the Nets who need a guard since the trade that sent star player James Harden to the 76ers of Philadelphia.
Ben Simmons, acquired for Harden, is not yet ready to return after missing the entire season. The Nets’ other star guard, Kyrie Irving, can’t play the team’s home games because he’s not vaccinated for COVID-19 and New York City rules require it .
Dragic has only appeared in five games this season with the Toronto Raptors. He was traded from the Miami Heat to the Raptors in an offseason trade involving Kyle Lowry. Then, at the trade deadline, the Raptors sent Dragic to the San Antonio Spurs. Dragic then accepted the buyout of his contract by the Spurs to become a free agent.
His intentions to join the Nets were first reported by specialist media The Athletic.
Dragic was named an all-star with the Heat in 2018 and helped the team reach the playoff grand final two years later. The Slovenian athlete began his NBA career in 2008 with the Phoenix Suns. He was then a teammate of Nets head coach Steve Nash.
