The 29-year-old has just completed the first season of a lucrative five-year contract worth $251 million. This agreement brings in $43.28 million annually.

Beal can benefit from an advantageous condition in his contract: he is the only player in the NBA to have a no-movement clause, which allows him to choose the team he would like to join.

The guard has spent his entire last 11 seasons in a Wizards uniform.

Last season, he averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 50 games.
