This was reported by journalist Darren Dreger of the TSN network on his Twitter account on Monday evening.

Kadri was hit hard from behind by forward Evander Kane in the first period of Game 3 of the series between the Avalanche and the Edmonton Oilers. Kadri left the game and Kane was suspended for one game for the cross-check.

Kadri will have to sit out at least the rest of the playoffs. However, his name has not yet been added to the injured list.
