The Kuwaiti national oil company announced on Monday, March 20, the“emergency state” after an oil leak. This took place in an uninhabited region, without causing any injuries, and “production was not affected”Kuwait Oil Company spokesman Qusai Alamer told AFP, without specifying the exact location of the incident.

“No toxic fumes were reported on the site”, he added. He pointed out that teams had been sent to the scene to determine the origin of the leak and contain it.
