National Architecture Days in Loire-Atlantique

Initiated by the Ministry of Culture, these days aim to develop the architectural knowledge of the general public and to arouse the desire for architecture. They propose to reveal the riches of remarkable contemporary architecture wherever it is found, to tell the story of the buildings that surround us, to arouse curiosities and artistic sensibilities and to enhance the cultural, scientific, technical and social of architecture.

On this occasion, and in connection with its awareness-raising missions with the general public, the CAUE de Loire-Atlantique invites you to discover recent achievements selected as part of the departmental price Previews 2021.

Saturday October 15, 2022, three visits commented by the architect and a representative of the contracting authority are offered to you, including two housing operations and two public facilities, illustrating the quality of architectural writing from various programs:

The Caroline Aigle high school in Nort-sur-Erdre designed by AIA Life Designers.

The Cos’Yle housing collective in Nantes by DLW architectes.

The Belvedere of Rozé in Saint-Malo-de-Guersac produced by CAC – Contemporary Architectural Creations, COLOCO – Contemporary Landscape Creations and Map [paysagistes].

The visits of one to two hours each, free and on registration, will take place in compliance with the health protocol in force. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the visit at the place of the visit.
