Nathalie Marquay soon to be resettled after the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut?

Since the death of the man of her life, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, on March 2, 2022, at the age of 71, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut has maintained contact with him. Convinced that she can communicate with him, via signs, by lighting candles around a photo, the former Miss France confided in the columns of Galathis January 4, 2024. And she announced that she would probably never start her life again…

“No, that’s absolutely not in my plans.”

Indeed, to our colleagues curious to know more about her future loves, the actress assured that it was “absolutely not in (s)his plans” to resettle. She who does not wish to start a new love story with someone else also assures: “Even though he’s no longer here, I still feel like I’m married to him. Besides, I’m not interested in that.”

It must be said that Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut is still captivated by the father of her children, Lou, 21, and Tom, 20, whom she met on December 8, 2001 during the Miss France 2002 election, at the Salle de la Filature in Mulhouse, while he was sitting next to her in the audience. She tells : “You realize, it would really take an extraordinary person to replace Jean-Pierre! No, I really don’t want to. I can’t even imagine it, because for the moment, I’m still with Jean- Pierre and we are together. I only see him.”

“I want to marry you and I want to have children.”

During this interview, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut also remembered the day when everything changed for her and Jean-Pierre. She indeed recalls that they had their “first meeting at the restaurant Le Jules Verne”, at the top of the Eiffel Tower. And that evening, the young woman declared to the presenter of the 1 p.m. news on TF1: “You are the man of my life, I want to marry you and I want to have children. If you don’t agree, I’ll leave you right now!” A love story like there can only be one in life? To be continued…
