The series of concerts that Nana Mouskouri was to give in Quebec and Toronto has been canceled.
“We regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, Nana Mouskouri’s Canadian tour scheduled for next May has been canceled,” the show promoter wrote on Thursday.
Rubin Fogel Productions does not provide details as to the nature of these “unforeseen circumstances”. A rescheduling of the shows to later dates does not seem to be on the agenda at the moment, as tickets already sold will be refunded.
Nana Mouskouri was scheduled to perform at Massey Hall in Toronto on May 21, in Montreal on the 23rd, in Gatineau on the 25th and in Quebec City on the 29th. The Greek singer, who has published hundreds of records in a dozen languages since the turn of the years 1960, aged 89.
