Nabilla and Thomas Vergara have already been a couple for ten years. In May 2019, while the beauty was pregnant with their little Milann (2 years old), they got married for the first time in London, in a very small committee. Then, on July 6, 2021, the terrible lovers celebrated a wedding with great pomp! Direction the Château de Chantilly for a sumptuous ceremony, unfortunately spoiled by the burglary of the young couple. It was surrounded by their loved ones that Nabilla and Thomas Vergara said “yes” to each other. If some were missing, Khoutir Benattia, the father of the pretty 29-year-old brunette was indeed present !
Asked by our colleagues from the magazine Gala, Nabilla reveals what moved her the most during her marriage. Without hesitation, she explains that it is the moment her dear father landed. “I’ve had afraid he won’t come. It’s a very special relationship, him and me, it will always remain a sensitive subject. My father doesn’t like TV, the media, the exhibition. This is not his world, she says. He is Muslim and introverted. He works at the UN in Switzerland and we appreciate him for his discretion. It is from him that I get my humor. He arrived in France at the age of 2, and is responsible for human resources, in charge of conflicts of interest. It is a model of integration. I am very proud of him.“
Nabilla close to her father … and at odds with her brother
Finally, despite the differences, Khoutir Benattia made the trip and celebrated this big day with his daughter. And a few months later, in November 2021, she even received her father at her home in Dubai. A relief for Nabilla who feared that he would not attend the event. “There is a very important person who will not be able to come. It hurt me a lot, I had a lot of trouble digesting this news“, she said on Snapchat in June, one month before the big day. Finally everything was arranged between father and daughter!
But the family was not complete. Indeed, Nabilla’s brother, Tarek Benattia, as well as the latter’s wife, Camélia Benattia, were not in the game. Our colleagues from the magazine Public had advanced “religious reasons“. For her part, Nabilla’s sister-in-law had made disturbing statements on social networks, revealing” to take [ses] distances as soon as we [lui] hurts”.
Nabilla’s interview can be found in full in the magazine Gala, currently on newsstands.
