In an interview with The world, Nabilla made touching confidences about her father Khoutir. Now reconciled with him, she did not speak to him for nearly ten years, between his 13 and 23 years. A real trauma for the young woman who reveals to have been marked by the very authoritarian and very angry side of this adored father. According to her, her unfortunate famous argument with her husband Thomas Vergara which arrived one evening in November 2014 was partly linked to her childhood marked by impulsiveness and violence.
My father was bloody, temperamental
Forced to undergo psychological care following this altercation with Thomas during which she stabbed him in the chest, she explains: “I understood what my problem was. Now I manage to channel myself. My father was bloody, temperamental. He didn’t hit us but broke things when he had to repeat things; you made noise while eating your soup, he threw it out the window. He scared us, but he was straight. Managing your anger is one of the hardest things“.
Sentenced to six months in prison (executed in community service) and one month in pre-trial detention at Versailles, the young woman now says she is more peaceful and seems to be living a more serene romance with her husband. Parents of Milann, they also offered a grandiose wedding ceremony at the Château de Chantilly on July 6. Asked by Gala, she had also confided what had moved her the most during the evening: the moment when her father landed, he who did not want to come to this highly publicized wedding. A wonderful gift for Nabilla who thought until the last minute that her dad would not come.
“I was afraid he wouldn’t come. It’s a very special relationship, him and me, it will always remain a sensitive subject. My father doesn’t like TV, the media, the exhibition. This is not his world. He is Muslim and introverted“she confided to the journalists of the magazine Gala.
