For this fifth day of the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, beautiful people were expected on the red carpet! Indeed, a traffic jam of stars was seen at the time of the climb of the steps of the film Killers of the Flower Moon. The American director, Martin Scorsese, author of this feature film, long of more than three hours in the company of the cast composed of Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone or even Jesse Plemons, who came with his wife Kirsten Dunst. Cate Blanchett, Irina Shayk, Izabel Goulart, Robbie Williams, but also a good part of the team of It’s up to you on France 5 led by Anne-Elizabeth Lemoine made the trip.
Nabilla and Thomas Vergara posed during this spring meeting which is becoming a habit for the couple. And as usual, the young thirty-year-old wanted to strike a chord with a magnificent black dress with a dizzying neckline. An outfit to compare with Salma Hayek. The actress had also decided to show off her generous assets in a sumptuous purple dress.
A highly anticipated film
Presented Out of Competition at the Cannes Film Festival (although festival director Thierry Fremaux said he invited it to compete in the Palme d’Or after Apple agreed to release it theatrically before airing it in the whole world, editor’s note), Killers of the Flower Moon, a new film by Martin Scorsese, is one of the great events of this 76th edition. This 3h26 western is inspired by real events and adapted from the book of the same name by David Grann, published in 2017, which looks back on the murders of the native Osage tribe.
While Apple has teamed up with Paramount Pictures to release the film in theaters exclusively on October 6 before streaming it – one of the prerequisites for it to compete at Cannes, it premiered at the Cannes event. Note that the 80-year-old filmmaker returned to the festival for the first time since After Hours in 1985. He won the Palme d’Or with Taxi Driver in 1976.
