What happens when a princess, who has disappeared from public life for several weeks, publishes a photo of herself that has clearly been modified? The public asks many, many questions! But where is she ? Is she hiding something? Be careful: when it is impossible to have clear answers, we sometimes see what we call conspiracy theories appear. We’ll explain!
But where is Kate Middleton?
The princess we are talking about is Kate Middleton, wife of Prince William and member of the British royal family. In January, she underwent abdominal surgery. For what ? Mystery. Since then, she has only been seen in public once. Such a long absence is very rare for members of royalty. Usually, we know almost all their doings and gestures.
Last week, the princess came out of the shadows by publishing a photo of her and her three children on social networks. But… oops! Several Internet users noticed that the photo was wrong. Kate’s right hand, for example, is very blurry. And his daughter’s jacket is missing a piece.
Kate finally admitted to having altered the photo… without saying why. A banal statement, but let’s say that this strange situation fuels the mystery! Especially since the royal family has said that the princess will not participate in any public activities until Easter. All this arouses suspicion…
What is a conspiracy theory?
This is when we think that someone is hiding a very big secret from us, for example the real reason for Kate Middleton’s absence.
Some people believe that Kate is much sicker than we are told. Others are convinced that she and Prince William have split. It is also said that she would have undergone plastic surgeries… or that she would have died. Of course, these theories are not based on any evidence!
Real life is often… flat!
It is true that this modified photo is strange and that we still know nothing about the condition of the princess. When we don’t have answers to our questions, it’s frustrating. You may have already experienced it! And many people try to fill this silence by inventing things.
The flat answer… is that we don’t have an answer. Maybe she’s resting, Kate! Or maybe it’s none of our business…
