Michèle Richard paid tribute to her former accomplice Serge Laprade in a message published on her Facebook page Thursday morning.

“Serge Laprade is no more. These words are very difficult for me this morning. We spoke at Christmas, it’s a part of my life that’s gone. My heart is sad. My condolences to Daniel, her partner and her family,” wrote the famous singer and actress who is currently on vacation outside the country.
Serge Laprade and Michèle Richard hosted the show together Garden party, on the airwaves of TQS (Noovo), in the 1980s, until the latter slammed the door with a bang in 1989. Her departure, at the time, caused a lot of ink to flow and put an end to their friendship. However, after a 27-year hiatus, the duo finally reconciled and reunited on stage for the show The idol tourin 2016.
