The chosen one evokes a “France on the verge of burnout”crossed by the crises of the Covid and the yellow vests and calls to stop the “political politics”, in the face of the reactions of certain left-wing deputies who contest the vocabulary used by Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday. According to him, the political class must stop opposing “sterile”in the face of current challenges: “We must rethink society: our movements, our use of energy… The ecological transition must be the DNA of all ministries.”

Regarding the controversy linked to the use of private jets, which some left-wing elected officials are asking for a ban in order to fight against climate change, Patrick Vignal wants the leaders of large companies to ask themselves the question of their systematic use: “We must not ban them but remember that there are, for example, tools for exchanging videoconferences remotely.” Before concluding : “We have to be careful in the majority because the symbols are important.”
