As announced for several weeks on France Bleu Picardie, a new organization has been set up at Amiens SC for next season. As agreed, Vice-President Luigi Mulazzi will no longer be part of it from June 30th. Explanations.
Luigi Mulazzi, does this decision to leave Amiens SC, which you have been sensing for a long time, mark as a phenomenon of wear and tear on your part?
“No, it’s neither a fed up nor a phenomenon of wear and tear. It is a decision carefully considered for six months. I had initially committed to a three-year lease… which lasted seven years! The club went through different phases with the rise of National in Ligue 2, then the rise in Ligue 1. And I still wanted to know Ligue 1! But the problems we experienced at the stadium, the collapse of the barrier etc… pushed me to stay a little longer. But after seven years of my life devoted to the club, the Mulazzi story at the ASC must end!“
Were you really in line with the club’s current sports strategy and policy?
“We form an office, we form a team and the decisions we take together we defend them together. Even if I did disagree with a number of decisions – and you won’t know which ones – I will tell you that I decided it with the office and the board of directors.“

Do you still recognize yourself in today’s football at Amiens SC?
“I can’t tell you that I recognize myself in today’s football, no. I much preferred the team we had in National and Ligue 2, with the players we called “robbers”. With them I identified myself! For some time, I have had a little more trouble with certain club personalities among the players.“
What will be your plans after your departure from Amiens SC?
“These are personal projects with my wife. The story will start shortly. Trips of course but not only, there are plenty of things that are already underway because you can imagine that I will not spend my days watching TV!“
But will you still attend the matches of Amiens SC at the Licorne?
“Yes I will come but certainly much less often than before, because I don’t have the character to have one leg inside and one leg outside. Either I fully take care of something, or I get out of it. So it’s out of the question for me to go down the halls to check things out with a certain vagueness in my soul. It’s not my style so when I leave, I leave! And there is a new history to be rewritten in this club.“
Will you still be a shareholder in Amiens SC?
“For the moment, nothing has been done. I’ll think about it. It is likely that I will remain a shareholder, but I am not even sure.”
In the meantime Luigi Mulazzi, in office until June 30, will attend the last two matches of Amiens SC (13th) in Ligue 2, tomorrow against Paris FC at La Licorne then May 14 in Auxerre.
