We owe him the best French series of the season, Sambreon France 2, the story in six episodes of the Sambre rapist. Jean-Xavier de Lestrade is now preparing a series on the attacks of November 13, 2015. The last series he devoured is Ted Lasso. “I didn’t necessarily consider myself the best audience for this type of series, he said. But ‘Ted Lasso’ is charming, it’s funny, it has a super offbeat humor, it never takes itself seriously and it’s totally feel good.”

Ted Lasso is an American series, which tells the story of an English football club, taken over by a woman during a divorce. “She’s going to hire an American football coach, who has nothing to do with football as we know it, to sink the club in order to get revenge on her ex-husband and in fact, the complete opposite will happen,” explains Jean-Xavier de Lestrade.

This coach is none other than Ted Lasso, the title character of the series, played by Jason Sudeikis, who won a Golden Globe for this role. “There is a gap with this American football coach and despite everything, he will succeed in bringing this club back up and there is a gallery of very colorful portraits. The owner of the club will find him very endearing and formidable and this coach, who knows nothing and with very singular methods of benevolence, listening, great attention to others, will end up making the club the equal of the very best in England, says Jean-Xavier de Lestrade. It sounds stupid, but under the cover of humor, and that’s where we see great comedies, we manage to talk about serious subjects.”

The three seasons of Ted Lasso are available on the Apple TV+ platform.
