Musical getaway at the Primeurs de Castres

Noé Preszow will perform in Castres on November 4th on the Lo Bolegason stage. In this room which can accommodate 500 people, the Belgian artist will present his very noticed first album, VSdo not delay.

On the occasion of this 7th edition of the Primeurs de Castres, another stage will be installed next door, under a marquee. Every evening, for three days, 5 artists will follow one another from 8 p.m. to midnight. “It’s true that they each have their own singularity, explains the director of the Lo Bolegason room, Olivier Nicaise. ,

Claire Laffut will be showing at the festival on November 4. Also planned: the pop group Lulu Van Trapp or Silly Boy Blue and its rock tinged with spleen. From Massy to Castres, the Festival des Primeurs offers a nice “north-south” echo of their work.

This is also the perfect opportunity for festival-goers from here and elsewhere to visit Castres. “Castres is the birthplace of Jean Jaurès so there is a fairly strong philosophical heritage. We discover the place Jean Jaurès in the city center where his statue is enthroned”, explains Olivier Nicaise.

You can also stroll around Saint-Benoît Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace garden designed by Le Nôtre. The city has a beautiful Italian theater. Moreover, the hyper center of Castres is also nicknamed the Little Venice.

Stage on the roads of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, Castres is at the foot of the lush forests of the black mountain, at the south-western end of the Massif Central, where superb walks await you such as crossing the Himalayan footbridge of Mazamet , 70 meters above the Arnette gorges, 140 meters long, it takes you to the medieval village of Hautpoul.
