Musical comedy | Lunou Zucchini in Rock of Ages

The finalist of Star Academy, Lunou Zucchini, will star in the musical Rock of ages.

Broadway hits, Rock of ages will be presented at the Théâtre du Capitole in Quebec in a French version. The performances will be held from June 28 to July 31, 2022.

Besides Lunou Zucchini, the show will feature Jordan Donoghue, Rémi Chassé, Manuel Tadros, Joëlle Lanctôt and Tommy Joubert. The staging will be provided by Joël Legendre.

Lunou Zucchini made a name for himself last winter at Star Academy. Daughter of Luce Dufault, the young singer came second in the popular vote, behind the winner, William Cloutier. She has since landed a role in Chaos, a drama series presented on TVA.

In Rock of ages, Lunou Zucchini will play Sherrie, a naive girl from Kansas who arrives in Hollywood in the hope of becoming an actress. She will give the reply to Jordan Donoghue, who will play Drew, a budding rocker who works in the Bourbon Room, a bar threatened with being demolished.

Several rock anthems and power ballads can be heard in Rock of ages, of which Don’t Stop Believin ‘, We Built This City, The Final Countdown and I Want To Know What Love Is.

Tickets will go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. on the Théâtre du Capitole site.
