Museum Welt der Kristalle

Nature and environment

The architecture of the building is interesting to see. We invite you to discover it and take a tour of our museum and exhibition.

Here you will discover wonders such as the largest amethyst druse in the world, a volcanic cavity over 4 meters high dating back 100 million years filled with amethyst crystals, a petrified forest dating back 220 million years with trunks from the “Petrified Forest National Park” region, Arizona, numerous petrified dinosaur skeletons and other large fossils, as well as giant crystals weighing more than 3,000 kg from all over the world.

By watching the documentary film shot by Mr. Alexander Müller during his many trips to southern Brazil where the mineral deposits are located, visitors discover many facets of the country and its inhabitants as well as the processing of minerals and crystals.

According to the motto of the museum “Discover the wonders of nature, better understand the past, experience natural history and enrich yourself with new experiences”, one can get an idea of the wonders of nature from all over the world.

It is also possible to acquire souvenirs in the museum shop.

Throughout the year you can attend various conferences on various themes in the field of minerals and fossils as well as lithotherapy according to Gienger in our meeting room.
