The role of Muriel Souzais
In addition to her administrative work, Muriel Souzais has been taking care, since last year, of children with disabilities who want to practice multisport.
Multisport
Children with disabilities can practice multisport from the age of 3. They are currently 5 or 6 practicing.
The difficulty: the resources it may involve. In some cases, one educator is needed per child.

Childcare
At the beginning, we receive the child with his parentssometimes with his educator, to see his behavior and ask him what he wants to do. If he wishes to be with other children. In some cases of mental disorders, for example, the child is not too interested in sharing with other children. We can then determine which sports the child can practice, in which group and with which educator.
The educator then follows the child throughout the sports session, from his arrival on the site until his departure. He will show the child but also practice with him. It is a lot by imitation, reproduction that children are made to practice, especially in the field of psychic handicap.
The session is a little shorter than with able-bodied children: an hour and a half maximum. Parents are invited to discuss with the educator ten minutes, a quarter of an hour at the end of the session . This allows you to take stock, to help the child progress, and for parents to discover their child in a different light.
Children, even with disabilities, can have real aptitudes for certain sports and therefore this is something very positive for them.
The 110 years seen by Muriel Souzais
ASM means a lot to me as I am from Clermont. I grew up the ASM already existed, my grandfather told me about it, everyone talks about it in the region. _the only thing that was known favorably outside was the ASM by its rugby team_. So for me, ASM means a lot.
