Muriel Robin is already responding to criticism of her future TF1 series

For several years, TF1 has been focusing on “original productions” with well-crafted scenarios. To properly celebrate the arrival of autumn, the channel has decided to spoil its loyal viewers with a new series called “Master Crimes” which arrives on our small screens from November 9.

Starring this new feature: Muriel Robin who plays the role of Louise Arbus, a professor of psycho-criminology at the university described as a woman “as brilliant as it is exasperating. Asked by the police to solve a rather complicated case. Against all expectations, the professor takes four of her students with her and must face Captain Delandre, an honest cop who cannot tolerate disorder or violations of the rules…

It’s impossible not to immediately notice the similarities with the storyline of the famous American series, “How to get away with murder” thought up by director Shonda Rhimes and with actress Viola Davis in the role of the tortured professor who leads she also her students on real crime scenes. However this time, TF1, which usually always wants to be transparent, does not specify that it is an adaptation of the successful American series.

Master Crimes: Muriel Robin makes an announcement on social networks

While criticism is already pouring out on what appears to be a pale copy of “Murder”, Muriel Robin decided to promote her project as it should and thus made an announcement on X, formerly Twitter : “I am happy to announce that the series Master Crimes will arrive on your screens on Thursday, November 9 as a bonus on TF1. Master crimes… Master writing… Master team… Master actresses… who are impatiently awaiting their public Master!” she wrote. It remains to be seen whether viewers will be there to discover this new fiction.
