Murder of the Liancourt physiotherapist: his ex-wife arrested!

The family was hiding many secrets… After six months of investigation, the gendarmes of the Senlis brigade arrested four people on Tuesday in the case of the murder of the physiotherapist of Senlis, Jean-Christophe Piel, according to information from the Parisian. Among the suspects, the ex-wife of the deceased, Delphine and her son, Laurent, who would have been part of this funeral project of “organized gang murder“.

But how did this family, which the neighbors thought was uneventful, come to this? To understand it, you have to go back to August 2021, a few days before the tragedy. Delphine, mother of three children from a first marriage and two daughters with Jean-Christophe Piel, files a complaint for “spousal violence and incestuous sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor“Indicted, the man was dismissed on August 16, 8 days before the tragedy.

Also indicted for “counts of rape of 15-year-old minors and incestuous sexual assault on 15-year-old minors“, he was still placed under judicial supervision but the procedure ended on his death, as required by law. Are these two complaints and these very serious accusations at the origin of the murder? Did Delphine want to protect her children?

Custody interrogations may point the gendarmes down this path. Questioned at the time of the murder, the young woman proclaimed her innocence but had spoken of her fight to the Parisian: “I’m not sad for him, I’m sad for my children. For three and a half years I have been fighting for justice, for him to be condemned by a court and go to prison. But with his death, my children will never have that chance.

Three of Delphine’s children, two of whom the physiotherapist had adopted, were victims of their father. A situation that stunned the neighbors, convinced that the man from the house next door was someone polite and nice. As a reminder, Jean-Christophe Piel had been hit by a point-blank shot in the back of the neck as he left his home, secateurs in hand to cut roses. He died several days later in hospital.
