The trial of the alleged murderer of Shaïna begins, Thursday, June 5, before the Assize Court of Miners of Oise in Beauvais (Oise). This young girl had been stabbed and burned alive in Creil (Oise), in 2019. Present at the Beauvais court, journalist Hugo Puffeney explains that “a few people are already beginning to arrive in front of the Beauvais courthouse to pay tribute to Shaïna, murdered at 16 in a garden shed, in October 2019”.
The accused “will plead acquittal”
“The accused is her ex-boyfriend at the time, also a minor at the time of the events. He would not have supported Shaïna becoming pregnant, and would have decided to kill her. He is implicated by several testimonies, the geolocation of his phone, and would even have boasted about this murder in prison in front of fellow prisoners. But in court, he disputes these facts. He speaks of a rumor, and says that he will plead the acquittal during this trial”continues Hugo Puffeney.
