A second arrest was made for the murder of Youcef Khelil, which occurred on March 25, in Repentigny.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) had been looking for a second suspect, Alexandre Durant-Artiles, since March 29. With the assistance of the SPVM, the SQ arrested him in the Hochelaga district of Montreal.
The name of Durant-Artiles appeared on the list of the most wanted criminals in Quebec. He was considered “dangerous”.
“The suspect is expected to appear by telephone today and in person tomorrow at the Joliette courthouse to face, among other charges, murder, kidnapping, forcible confinement and uttering threats,” said the Sûreté du Québec. Quebec by press release.
The first suspect, Raymond Félix Bakodok, 21, was arrested on March 29.
