A man was shot and killed early in the night in Laval. According to our information, the victim is Marc Issa El-Khouri, an individual who had already been arrested and accused of the murder of a Hells Angels committed in Ontario in March 2019.
El-Khoury, 30, from Montreal, was with other people at a private party, in a reception room on Boulevard Saint-Martin Est, when a hooded gunman approached and shot him, before fleeing.
Around 1:20 a.m., a burned vehicle was reported on Dufesne Street, near Lalonde Avenue, in the Ville-Marie sector in Montreal, and it cannot be ruled out that this discovery could have a link with the murder of ‘El-Khouri.
Since this assassination would be linked to organized crime, the investigation was entrusted to the Sûreté du Québec.
According to the Quebec docket, El-Khouri was acquitted in a case of non-compliance with conditions dating from 2015.
Killed in front of the police
Four years ago, Marc Issa El-Khouri and three other individuals, all Montrealers, Marckens Vilme, Joseph Pallotta and Brandon Reyes, were arrested in connection with the murder of Niagara Hells Angels Michael Deabaitua-Schulde, 32, murdered by ball as he left a fitness room on March 11, 2019, in Mississauga, Ontario.
According to our information, Michael Deabaitua-Schulde was involved in illegal sports betting in the neighboring province, where a conflict between groups over this lucrative criminal activity was raging at the time.
The biker was also the subject of an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and was on surveillance at the time he was killed in front of the police, and they then quickly apprehended the suspects, with the assistance of Major Crimes investigators from the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM).
Following a jury trial held in Brampton, Ontario, after two days of deliberations, Vilme, Reyes and Pallotta were found guilty of the first degree murder of the biker and sentenced to prison. for life, while Marc Issa El-Khoury was acquitted.
According to evidence presented at trial, Vilme and Reyes were the shooters while Pallotta and El-Khoury allegedly drove the vehicles, one of which was set on fire.
According to our information, Vilme grew up in the fold of the Ruffriders, a blue street gang involved in drug trafficking and acts of violence in Pierrefonds and the west of the island of Montreal.
