Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with the murder that occurred in September in the Ville-Marie borough in Montreal.
The police investigation into the murder in the Montreal neighborhood of Ville-Marie, at the corner of Sherbrooke West and Mansfield streets, enabled the police to make arrests and searches in Montreal and Montérégie on Thursday.
On September 18, a 23-year-old man died of his injuries after being stabbed in an altercation. This is the 21e homicide in Montreal in 2021. Another victim was seriously injured and had to undergo an operation. When the police arrived, the suspects had fled in an unknown direction.
The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) says the two suspects face murder charges and should appear at the Montreal courthouse by Friday.
