(Montreal) Advance voting in municipal elections begins this weekend in Quebec.
All municipalities will hold an advance polling day on Sunday, October 31, and in some municipalities, citizens can vote on Saturday.
To find out the voting days in their municipality, electors must consult the notice received by mail or consult their municipality’s website.
Polling stations will be open in all municipalities on November 7, election day.
Due to the health crisis, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and Elections Quebec ask citizens in particular to respect physical distancing, both outside and inside the polling place, to wear a cover. -face and disinfect his hands.
Pencils are available on site, but voters can also bring their own pencil.
Blue or black pens and lead pencils are accepted.
