City of the Train – SNCF Heritage
TECHNOLOGY AND INDUSTRY MULHOUSE FRANCE
Formerly the French Railway Museum, the Cité du Train, SNCF heritage museum in Mulhouse, has been welcoming the public since 1971 and sharing with them the incredible epic of the railroad, the particularity of which is to tell us about France, the French and the territory.
Through its unique collection of rolling stock, models, railway objects, posters and works of art, the Cité du Train bears witness to two centuries of railway history in France – from the first locomotives train to the TGV – and stands out today as the largest railway museum in Europe.
