“A soul brother”
During her appearance on the France 2 morning show, Axelle Red returned to several of her essential titles, including one in duet with Renaud. It is in fact Manhattan-Kabul released in 2001. A title written by half of Cerise and which continues to find resonance today.

As a reminder, this song was written by Renaud shortly after the attacks of September 11, 2001 and the second Afghan war. In this text, two victims of the events of 2001 sing about the causes of their death. Renaud plays a young Puerto Rican who worked in one of the towers of the World Trade Center (New York), destroyed on September 11, 2001. While Axelle Red plays the role of a young Afghan child killed during the coalition attack carried out by the United States in his country held by the Taliban during the fall of 2001.
