On the sidelines of a new demonstration against the health pass, a deputy from La République en Marche was attacked, as well as an adviser to the Keeper of the Seals, Saturday January 22 in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales). This is the third time in three years that permanence has been targeted.

A deputy La République en Marche surrounded by demonstrators, anti-pass gathered in front of his office. The scene took place on Saturday January 22 in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales). Very quickly, the tension mounted. A first man tried to hit the deputy Romain Grau. A neighbor came to his aid, he was shoved, answered and exchanges of blows followed.

The deputy tried to take refuge at his neighbor’s house when he was struck in the face. Back in his office on Sunday January 23, Romain Grau is still shocked by the attack. “These people don’t scare me. When I see this barbaric behavior, they don’t deserve anything but firm sanctions”, he says. The deputy will file a complaint during the day.
