The National Rugby League announced it Tuesday evening. The top 14 match scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. between Toulon and La Rochelle is postponed to Sunday at 6 p.m. Response to new cases of Covid announced in the afternoon by the harbor club, after a new series of tests among its players.
Toulon has already seen two matches postponed due to Covid. About twenty players tested positive last Friday. The League’s new health protocol provides that a club can request the postponement of its match if it has fewer than 23 players, including a minimum of 15 players under professional contract.
The LNR takes the opportunity to unveil the calendar for the 16th day. La Rochelle will host Montpellier on Saturday January 29 at 5 p.m.
