A person was injured in an avalanche that occurred on Mount Albert, in Gaspésie, on Saturday afternoon.
The snowslide occurred around 3 p.m., at Mont Albert, in the Gaspésie National Park.
No person missing under the snow has been reported, according to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). A minor injured was however transported to a hospital.
SQ snowmobilers have been called in as reinforcements on site, and an operation is underway to ensure that no one is missing.
