Motorway network: here are the obstacles to avoid during the long weekend

Motorists must plan their trips during the long holiday weekend, due to the major obstacles expected on the Montreal highway network.

In the Saint-Pierre interchange, Highway 20 westbound will be completely closed between exit 63 and the 1st Avenue entrance, from Saturday 12:30 a.m. to Tuesday 5 a.m.

The ramp leading from Highway 138 eastbound to Highway 20 westbound will also be closed during the same period.

Mobilité Montréal is planning on Highway 25 southbound to close exit 4 and the entrance from Sherbrooke Street, from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

In Laval, Highway 13 northbound will be closed between exit 15 and the Sainte-Rose Boulevard entrance, from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 6 a.m.

The Laviolette Bridge in Trois-Rivières will be partially closed with only one lane in each direction open to traffic from Friday 8 p.m. to Sunday midnight and from Sunday 6 p.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m.

Also, beginning Tuesday, the ramp leading from Hickmore Street to the eastbound Highway 520 service road will be closed for a week.
