The Russian armed forces threatened, Wednesday, April 13, to strike again Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, returned under Ukrainian control since April 2. These reprisal threats follow “attempts of sabotage and strikes by Ukrainian forces on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation of Russia”according to the Russian Defense Ministry. This announcement comes as the United States announced the supply of heavy military equipment, up to 800 million dollars, to the Ukrainians.

“If such events continue, strikes will be carried out by the Russian military on decision-making centers, including at kyiv, what the Russian army has refrained from doing so far”said igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry.
