A night peppered with urban violence in the Perseigne district, in Alençon (Orne), between Tuesday September 27 and Wednesday September 28. This urban violence began around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, 35 police and gendarmes intervened on the spot until 2 a.m. Vehicles were used to blockade the streets of the neighborhood. The security forces were targeted by mortar fire, without causing any injuries.
The scene was secured to allow the intervention of firefighters. At 2 a.m. on Wednesday, calm had returned to the neighborhood. This man had incited the neighborhood youths to riot.
