A race against time is being played out in Morocco. A 5-year-old child fell into a dry well 32 meters deep on Tuesday February 1. His rescue has held the whole country in suspense for four days.

At the edge of the hole dug by the emergency services, there is a whole village, their eyes riveted on the rescue of little Ryan. The child has been stuck at the bottom of the narrow well for four days, Tuesday February 1, 32 meters deep. The inhabitants are hanging on to the hope of seeing him come back alive. “People come from all over the region to the scene of the accident. Some even spend their night there.says a resident.

Ryan was playing near the well when he fell. For his family, the wait is endless. “I miss him, it’s been three nights”cries her grandmother. The rescue operation is very delicate for the rescuers. The cavity being narrow, attempts to bring in a rescuer all failed. Only a camera made it possible to glimpse Ryan, alive. Rescuers are preparing to dig a three-meter tunnel to reach the trapped child.
