More than a ton of cocaine from Colombia was seized on Wednesday December 22 by the anti-narcotics office (Ofast) near the port of Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), we learned Monday, December 27 from a source policewoman, confirming information from Figaro. Several traffickers have been arrested, according to this source.
At the beginning of December, customs officers seized a cargo of nearly 1.5 tonnes of cocaine in a container in transit in the Norman port, which was not the final destination of the drug.
In France, 18 tons of cocaine have been seized since the beginning of the year against 13 tons in total in 2020, according to a report unveiled by the Figaro and confirmed to AFP from a police source.
