more than 700 homes without electricity this Saturday morning following the passage of storm Diego

At the height of the storm, 3,000 homes were deprived of electricity in the Loire, overnight from Friday to Saturday. There are less than 800 left this Saturday morning, Enedis hopes to have restored 80% of the lines in the evening.

Cuts localized on the Roannais and the Forez

It is especially the north of the department which suffers from these cuts, the plains of Roannais and Forez. About forty Enedis technicians are at work on the lines in the following towns: Saint-Just-en-Chevalet, Saint-Étienne-le-Molard, Sainte-Foy-Saint-Sulpice and Saint-Martin-la-Sauveté.

In Saint-Just-en-Chevalet, the municipal teams spent the morning clearing the branches stuck on the roads and across the lines to allow the Enedis technicians to work. The electricity supplier has promised the mayor of the commune that all its hamlets without electricity will be connected to the sector again by noon.
