True from False Workshop

From studio 221, the Atelier Vrai du Faux broadcast live was hosted by Cécile Ribault-Caillol, Antoine Krempf and Antoine Deiana. This event brought together nearly 40 classes, or more than 900 students! Journalists from the Cellule Vrai du Faux de franceinfo offered middle school and high school students a behind-the-scenes look at their daily work: tracking down false information and rumours. How to verify information circulating on social networks? How do you know if a photo is faked? How to find the right sources of information?

Hello news, live!

The webinar “Salut l’info! le direct: being well informed can be learned” was broadcast live from studio 221 from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Hosted by Estelle Faure, journalist at franceinfo, Rémi Chaurand and Agathe Guilhem, journalists at Astrapi, the event brought together nearly 2,000 classes!

55,000 primary school pupils were able to discover the backstage of the podcast “Salut l’info!” and the profession of journalist: what is information? Where do they come from? How to verify that they are true? What is a source? Committed to its mission of media and information education, franceinfo once again mobilized with young people to help them better understand and apprehend the information that surrounds them.
