It is one of the deadliest strikes since the start of the war in Ukraine. 51 civilians including a child died this Thursday, October 5 in Groza, a small village in the east of the country. The victims took part in a funeral ceremony. The UN says it is dismayed by this strike.

Groza, 350 inhabitants, is located near Kharkiv, in the east of the country. It was 1:15 p.m. when a strike hit the grocery store, as well as the village café. Around sixty people gathered there for the funeral of one of their own, a soldier.
Volodymyr Zelensky calls for more military aid
The toll is very heavy, at least 51 dead, including a six-year-old child, and bodies on the ground, which families are trying to identify. According to the Ukrainians, there were only civilians in the village of Groza this Thursday, October 5. Volodymyr Zelensky blames Moscow. The Ukrainian president was in Spain today with Emmanuel Macron and European leaders. He once again called for greater military aid.
