They were more than 2000 this Saturday, July 2 to attend the white march in the streets of Arles (Bouches-du-Rhône) in tribute to Marwane. A 15-year-old young man, shot dead in his street, Griffeuille district a week ago. Family, school or football club friends, teachers and anonymous or even elected officials all sported a white T-shirt asking “Justice for Marwane“, collateral victim of a settling of accounts.
White rose in hand, the procession left from the place of the tragedy, rue Winston-Churchill, to the city center, place Charles-de-Gaulle. Facing the crowd, her mother spoke up: “Marwane, we will never forget him, he left footprints, _the whole city, the whole population was affected by his disappearance_. I love you all, and thank you so much for being there for us, for Marwane.”

The judicial police of Marseille is in charge of the investigation. The shooter(s) have still not been found.. The car from which the shots came was found burned in Saint-Martin de Crau, 20 km from Arles.
