Some 19,475 homes were still plunged into darkness overnight from Wednesday to Thursday, due to power outages on the Hydro-Quebec network.
The bulk of the outages was recorded in Montérégie where 19,088 customers were deprived of electricity, according to the latest Hydro-Québec report updated shortly before 4 a.m.
In Montreal, 262 families have not been reconnected to the Hydro-Quebec electrical network, which still had to resolve four outages.
These are all outages on the network of the state company which still affect forty households in the Capitale-Nationale.
In Outaouais and Chaudière-Appalaches, blackouts also remained unrecovered, still plunging 77 homes into darkness.
In total, no less than 28 power interruptions have not yet been restored across all regions of the province.
