Among the complainants, 1,512 have difficulties accessing their data processed in the context of commercial and labor relations, 850 report commercial solicitations by email, SMS or telephone, 663 believe that they are the subject of unlawful surveillance at work, and 400 challenge a bank record, in particular in the Banque de France loan repayment incident file.

The Cnil has obviously also received many complaints related to the use of the Internet. More than 300 complaints relate to cookies and other tracers and 272 others report a refusal of delisting. Among the latter, 8% relate to requests for deletion of content concerning press articles published online.

When it comes to a refusal of delisting on the part of Google, the CNIL ensures that it manages to obtain it “in the vast majority of cases“after discussion with the company.
