Pupils from Ukraine are spread across the whole of France, in elementary school for almost half. The academies of Nice and Versailles are those which welcome the most.

The Ministry of National Education has counted 11,220 students arriving from Ukraine currently attending school in France, according to figures arrested on Thursday and announced on Friday 15 April. That’s 1,600 more than a week ago.
Since the beginning of March, the Ministry of National Education has set up a “Ukrainian cell”. She works every day to anticipate the reception in the classes from school to high school.

In detail, 40% of these students are welcomed in elementary school, 32% in college, 18% in kindergarten and 10% in high school.
The academies of Nice (1,059) and Versailles (1,046) host the most, followed by the academies of Grenoble (785), Lyon (627), Créteil (567), Bordeaux (559), Montpellier (517), Normandy (515), and Orléans-Tours (510).
