Markus Vidicek scored twice as the Mooseheads upset the Charlottetown Islanders, the overall leaders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), 5-2 on Saturday in Halifax.

Goaltender Mathis Rousseau certainly had a say in the win as he blocked 37 of the 39 pucks he faced. Jordan Dumais, Zachary L’Heureux and Elliot Desnoyers notably gave him a cushion with a goal each.
Brett Budgell and Noah Laaouan scored for the Islanders, who suffered just their 11th regulation loss this season.
The second sinks the Eagles
The Saint John Sea Dogs struck three times in just over four minutes in the second period to beat the Cape Breton Eagles 5-1 in Sydney.
William Dufour was the first scorer for his team in the second period. Ryan Francis and Cam McDonald added later, while Josh Lawrence opened the scoring in the first period. Dufour completed the scoring in an empty cage with his 48th of the campaign.
Jérémy Langlois was the only representative of the local club to deceive the vigilance of Thomas Couture, who made 34 saves. Rémi Delafontaine faced 31 shots.
