A giant concert will be given by Madonna in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Saturday May 4. More than a million people are expected for the occasion.
A huge 800 m² stage in the heart of Copacabana beach, Brazil. Opposite, one of the largest dance floors in the world. More than 1.5 million spectators are expected on the evening of Saturday May 4 to attend a unique concert by the queen of pop, Madonna. A free show which will be the biggest ever given by the star. The day before, for rehearsals, many fans had gathered in front of the stage. “Madonna embodies everything. Madonna has a magnificent voice. Her music is political, it transforms lives”assures one of them.
One of the greatest concerts of all time
In Rio de Janeiro, the fever is rising by the hour. The city’s hotels are almost all full and items bearing Madonna’s image are sold in abundance. According to the town hall, this concert will generate more than 50 million euros for the local economy, or 30 times more than the investments made to organize such an event. In total, more than 4,500 security agents will be mobilized to supervise this concert which promises to be one of the biggest of all time.
