(Montreal) A woman was saved by the intervention of firefighters, on the night of Thursday to Friday, in Montreal. The victim was found unconscious at the scene of a fire.

Emergency services received a call around 1 a.m. on Friday concerning a fire in an apartment building on Marin Avenue, near the intersection with Saint-Jacques Street, in the Sud-Ouest borough.
When the police arrived, the firefighters had already located the victim who was unconscious, according to spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Caroline Chèvrefils.
The victim is believed to be a 35-year-old woman, but her identity still could not be confirmed by Friday morning.
She was rushed to hospital, but her life is not believed to be in danger.
The cause and origin of the fire have not yet been determined. The investigation was thus entrusted to the arson section of the SPVM.
Investigators were to go on site Friday morning to analyze the scene.
