(Montreal) A second armed attack occurred in Montreal within a few hours. The most recent incident relates to a man who was stabbed in the Mile End area on Friday morning.

A call was reported to 9-1-1 around 5:10 a.m. regarding a man who was allegedly stabbed on Jeanne-Mance Street, near Van Horne Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital and is in critical condition.
A perimeter was erected in the area to allow investigators from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) to analyze the scene.
So far, no suspects have been arrested. The SPVM was still trying to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding the event. The investigation is continuing.
Earlier in the night from Thursday to Friday, a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the Plateau-Mont-Royal sector, in Montreal. Authorities later confirmed that his life was out of danger.
